After studying English at various institutions, Greg Morse began producing articles in 1994. His first book - John Betjeman: Reading the Victorians - came in 2008; his latest, on the Clapham train accident of 1988, was published in 2023.
Greg used to write record reviews for Shindig! magazine and still produces articles on rail history and railway safety for various journals. As a railway safety professional, he also had a hand in writing this safety learning document.
Greg has never appeared on television, despite having an excellent face for radio (as this podcast for the Philip Larkin Society demonstrates). He has made a couple of appearances on RED, the railway safety briefing series of films made by the Rail Safety & Standards Board. But you're unlikely to have seen them. Sorry.
